John Truelson, CEO

John Truelson – CEO

John Truelson, founder and CEO, had a passion for aviation from an early age. As a child, he drew pictures of large jets, replacing their commercial logos with one of his own. Little did he know that this dream would eventually become a reality. After college, he took his first aviation job as a Flight Instructor, teaching students how to fly a plane of their own. Since then, he’s held a multitude of aviation jobs including commercial pilot, airline pilot, corporate pilot and freight pilot before he left the private sector and joined the USAF Reserves to fly the B-1 Bomber, including a combat tour in the Middle East. It’s this diversity and range of experiences that has enabled his success as he knew exactly what worked and what needed to be improved in order to build the best — Lone Star Aviators.

Never one to follow the beaten path, John’s motto is why walk if you can fly? When not at the office, you can find him behind the wheel of a very fast car, or up in the air, doing tricks in one of his acrobatic planes. Flying is still the place where he feels most at peace. The fact that he gets to make a living doing what he loves is a gift that he never takes for granted.

FAA Certified Private Jet Airline Lone Star Aviators.

At Lone Star Aviators, your safety is our primary concern. From our front-line pilots with years of experience to the operations team running the show, we pride ourselves on hiring the best in the business. Our dedicated staff works tirelessly to ensure no stone is left unturned and that dedication shines through in a smooth and safe operation.

Now more than ever, cleanliness and perfection take a front seat in our daily lives. Take advantage of our private jet charter services and avoid the exposure of a traditional airline terminal. Lone Star Aviators takes every precaution to ensure individual health through rigorous sanitation policies and procedures.

SAFETY, SECURITY, PRIVACY

It’s a fact that flying is the safest form of travel, and private aviation offers optimal safety and security. In a world turned upside down by COVID-19, flying with a private jet charter company makes more sense now than ever before.

With Lone Star Aviators, you fly in and out of our private terminals avoiding large crowds and the hundreds of touch-points that exist in commercial airports. You avoid queues for check-in, security, boarding, passport control, and baggage claim. Imagine having an entire terminal to yourself – this maximizes your time as well as your safety.

Aboard all of our jets, our professional staff ensures that a clean and sanitary environment provides comfort and personal security. And whether you’re flying alone or with members of your team or family, there will definitely be fewer passengers on your private flight. These attributes are also vital for our clients who need their privacy, or for those who require more space to work on sensitive business matters.

Other important security features concern the jets themselves. While they are smaller than commercial airplanes, they are swift and agile. This allows them to fly at over 40,000 feet and change flight paths to skirt around worrying weather patterns when necessary. Our jets also have the capability to land at almost any airport, even on short notice.

CONVENIENCE AND COMFORT

Chances are you’ve traveled on many commercial flights in your lifetime. The process is tiring, time-consuming, inconvenient, and sometimes a total nightmare. Flying privately gives you a totally different experience, and here at our private jet charter company in Houston, we place the highest priority on convenience and comfort for all our clients.

Our private jet charter company is based at our private terminal at William P. Hobby Airport. It’s less than a 20-minute drive from downtown Houston which makes it easy and convenient for departures from, and arrivals into, the city.

As travelers know, flying commercial means spending hours at the airport. For typical flights, passengers stand in line to check-in, go through security, and board the flight at the gate. They wait for fellow passengers to stow their bags and get settled, and then they squish into their seats with limited legroom and hope that the flight can take off on time. Once they arrive, they go through the process all over again and hope that their luggage isn’t missing in the end.

Using chartered jets gives you the luxury of stepping out of your car, onto your jet, and departing a few minutes later. Or you can spend some time in our private terminal where you have everything you need from meeting rooms to a fully equipped executive lounge that is comfortable and relaxing. You’ll never have to worry about missing luggage again.

SCHEDULE AND TIME

Lone Star Aviators knows that your time is valuable. That’s why our private jet charter service, headquartered in Houston, gives you the freedom and flexibility to customize your flight and travel itinerary on your terms. Even when you need to book a private jet within short notice or make changes at the last minute, Lone Star Aviators can accommodate you 24/7 for business or pleasure travel.

Flying with a private jet company like ours means your flight is always on time, so you can plan your busy day without worrying about your schedule. There’s no fear of missing your flight because your private jet waits for you even if you have a delay.

Using private aviation means you don’t have to show up at the airport hours before your flight’s departure. Most commercial travelers spend more than 90 minutes at an airport for domestic flights and three hours for international flights. When you fly with a private jet charter company you don’t have to arrive at the terminal until 15 minutes before departure, a huge savings of time and frustration.

No more long, uncomfortable layovers waiting for a connecting flight to get to your destination. Private jet charter companies like ours have access to more airports than commercial airlines, so we get you closer to your destination in one continuous flight.
